Kelliher Insurance Group is excited to partner with Feefo, the world’s largest verified reviews provider, to fund tree-planting projects. The company’s Trade Direct Insurance business has partnered with Treefo to plant trees for customer reviews made on Feefo.
With 69% of consumers interested in making more sustainable choices*, Kelliher Insurance Group wanted to offer something that would positively impact the planet and boost support for their business from like-minded customers. Feefo’s tree-planting initiative, Treefo, in partnership with Ecologi, enables our business to support tree-planting projects in return for customer reviews.
Treefo and Ecologi work with Eden Reforestation Projects, a non-profit organisation whose mission is “to provide fair-wage employment to local villagers working on forest restoration projects across the world.” They achieve this by hiring local people to plant, grow, and care for the trees, which has a positive socioeconomic and environmental impact.
The initiatives support local communities in restoring landscapes, decreasing the devasting effects of deforestation worldwide. These tree-planting projects nurture seeds so that they have the best chance of growing into full-grown trees.
